The Twelve
Concepts and Public Information
From the early days
of our Fellowship, our Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions have
guided us as a Fellowship and paved the way for our growth. The
guiding principles of our Traditions have influenced our fundamental
decisions, helping to protect us from ourselves. The Twelve
Concepts, as guiding principles, empower the groups to create an
efficient and responsive service structure to serve their common
needs.
In the pages which follow, we will discuss the
Twelve Concepts as they apply to the delivery of services from a
Public Information perspective. These essays are not intended to
replace the more thorough discussion of the Concepts in the
pamphlet, "The Twelve Concepts of NA Service." This discussion is
solely our shared experience on the subject, from a Public
Information point of view.
On the following pages are short
essays on each Concept as they apply to PI service:
Concept 1 • Concept 2 • Concept 3 • Concept 4 • Concept 5 • Concept 6 • Concept 7 • Concept 8 • Concept 9 • Concept 10 • Concept 11 • Concept 12
